Washington D to the C

Just 13 days from now, I will be boarding a plane bound for our nation’s capitol. I gotta say, I’m pretty excited. I’ve never been to DC, but have always wanted to visit. I have a cool hotel booked for a really great price and it’s just down the street from “The Hill”. I plan on seeing as many sites as possible. It’s going to be super-hot I’m sure, but I’ve gotten used to it this summer with the 100 degree heat we’re having lately.

I’m definitely hitting the Smithsonian. I’m a huge museum geek and typically will delve into them in any city I’m visiting. I am a recurring guest of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. I almost have that place’s floor plan memorized.

Anyway, the Smithsonian has a Jim Henson/Muppets exhibit going on right now! Woo-hoo! Can’t wait!

This clip has nothing to do with that exhibit, but it does pertain to the Muppets… well, sort of. And, it’s fantastic!

Pop culture thought of the day. Just another reason why I don’t shop at effin’ Wal-mart.

I’m so jealous. Both times I was in DC I had to work. But you’ll have a blast. Bring me back a Muppet key chain!!

I’m jealous too! I would love to see that exhibit. You’ll have to post a recap on it!
